Loc maintenance is very important. I should be seeing you every 6-8 weeks for mature locs and every 3-4 weeks for starter locs! ( you need to be at least 4 weeks out for a retwist). This helps us catch and address any concerns you may have, whether it be scalp concerns or loc breakage. A 2-step shampoo is included in all my prices (unless otherwise stated in description)! It's hard for me to try to keep up with all my clients loc maintenance schedes and for me to send out 4 week reminders so please keep up with your loc maintenance schedule, the 4 week reminders has ceased.
PLEASE BOOK EARLY TO AVOID APPOINTMENT DELAYS. Lasting Impressions Loc Services is expanding at a rapid rate and I am so grateful for my current clients and for my new clients❤THANK YALL! With that being said please try to book your appointments early to ensure you stay up with your loc maintenance. I do not mind clients booking early as long as it's 4 weeks out(mature locs)
Please do not shampoo your starter locs! The person who is retwisting them will do this for you(whether it's me or someone else)! You actually make it harder to reinforce your foundation when you shampoo them in between maintenance! I will let you know when you're able to shampoo your own locs without compromising your foundation.
Please moisturize your locs BEFORE adding any oil to them! Oil is mostly a SEALANT! Oil should only be used 1-2 times a week & rose water spray can be used as needed! (Although I use moisturizing oils in my hand made oil ONLY USE AFTER MOISTURIZING LOCS) **I PREFER MY ROSE WATER PAIRED WITH MY OIL** for best results and a healthy loc journey! DRINK WATER ,DRINK WATER, DRINK WATER!!
Please please please wrap your locs up at night before bed. This helps with dryness and breakage! Or USE SILK PILLOW CASES! YOUR LOCS WILL THANK YOU!
